Note: The request type is only used for the quality analysis functionality. Exact Synergy Enterprise will create this type of request for every answer replied in a quality analysis.

Scores: Percentage section

You need to set the minimum and average score in order to determine whether a respondent pass or fail a quality analysis. For example, a quality analysis has four questions with the corresponding score, as tabulated below:

Question 1

Question 2

Question 3

Question 4

Score for Answer 1

Note:

The score for answers 1, 2, 3, and 4 is determined by the score set in the answer template. For example, if a respondent chooses Answer 1 for Question 1, he will obtain a score of 5 but if he chooses Answer 2 for Question 1, he will obtain 10. The asterisks (*) indicate the score for the actual answers selected by the respondent.

Minimum

Type the minimum score per question, in terms of percentage, that must be obtained by a respondent in order to pass a quality analysis.

Note: The minimum score analyzed per question is taken from the minimum score obtained in the quality analysis. It will not take other scores into account.

Example:

From the tabulation, the respondent has selected Answer 1 for Question 1, as indicated by the asterisks (*). Therefore,

The score percentage obtained for Question 1

=

The score obtained for the answer selected for Question 1

x 100%

The maximum score possible for Question 1)

=

5/20 x 100% = 25%

Using the same calculation method, the score obtained for Question 2, 3, and 4 are 50%, 100%, and 80% respectively. As a result, the minimum score obtained for the quality analysis is 25%.

A respondent will pass a quality analysis if the minimum score obtained is more than the set minimum score per question. For example, a respondent will pass a quality analysis if the minimum score that he obtains is 25% and the minimum score per question is set as 20%

However, a respondent will fail a quality analysis if the minimum score obtained is less than the set minimum score per question. For example, a respondent will fail a quality analysis if the minimum score that he obtains is 25% and the minimum score per question is set as 30%.

Average

Type the average score for the quality analysis that must be obtained by a respondent in order to pass a quality analysis.

Example:

From the tabulation,

The total maximum score for the quality analysis

=

The maximum possible score for Question 1 + The maximum possible score for Question 2 + The maximum possible score for Question 3 + The maximum possible score for Question 4

=

20 + 20 +15 +25 = 80

The total score obtained for the quality analysis

=

The score obtained for Question 1 + The score obtained for Question 2 +

The score obtained for Question 3 + The score obtained for Question 4

=

5 + 10 +15 +20 = 50

The percentage of total score obtained for the quality analysis

=

The total score obtained for the quality analysis

x 100%

The total maximum score for the quality analysis

=

50/80 x 100% = 62.5%

A respondent will pass a quality analysis if the percentage of total score obtained for the quality analysis obtained is more than the set average score. For example, a respondent will pass a quality analysis if the percentage of the total score that he obtains is 62.5% and the average score is set as 60%.

However, a respondent will fail a quality analysis if the percentage of total score obtained is less than the set average score. For example, a respondent will fail a quality analysis if the percentage of the total score that he obtains is 62.5% and the average is set as 70%.
